So what happens at our meetings?
We start each meeting with a welcome to newcomers and a brief introduction by the group secretary.
Next, there’s a short reading of a section taken from our core text “Staying sober without God“ or other secular literature. The reading is different at each meeting and is often read by a volunteer.
The meeting is then open for members to share their thoughts and experiences. This sharing could be about the reading or any other alcohol-related theme. Anybody wishing to share should use the raise hand button in the Zoom chat window and the secretary will invite people to contribute one at a time. There’s no need to say anything - sharing is not obligatory.
The meeting ends with a closing statement by the secretary.
